Escapes: Interrupted Cities
to become free or get free from;
or to avoid something;
an escape is also an unintentional loss;
an act or instance of escaping;
avoidance of reality;

Escapes (a project developed at SVA, MFA Design / Writing and Designing the Visual Book with Warren Lehrer) is a series of photographic instances of change through visual interventions in public spaces exploring the potentials of the visual culture. It depicts the new understandings of the forms of space, experiences & communities that are emerging nowadays and rapidly transforming urban environments (New York City: Little Italy, Noho & Lolita).
