In response to creating a bifurcated or a multiple parts book assignment, I drew upon my own Chinese and American upbringing to develop both visual and written content for this piece.
Each booklet represents the duality of my personality and values across several areas in my life. It ranges from table etiquette, family versus the individual, tea versus coffee, and Chinese versus the English language vernacular. Patterns were drawn based on the at times conflicting and at other times complementary areas of my life.
