After a weekend of talks on wearables, augmented reality, and the future of, well, just about everything, SVA alumni got together for a quiet meal in Austin’s SoCo district. Paige Hoover (08), Lydia Reynolds (11), Shawn Sprockett (13), Sylvia Villada (12), Alex Cho (00), and Jacqueline Schoeffel (07) sipped prosecco with cochair Lita Talarico and talked about life after SVA, starting new families, and the pros and cons of working at big companies.

While everyone’s careers and locations have changed through the years, one thing SVA MFAD alumni felt they had in common was an independent spirit and a continued desire to disrupt the environment around them.
