Winners of 2015 SVA Alumni Scholarships

And the winners of the 2015 SVA Alumni Scholarships awarded for exemplary thesis work are:

(Note: All theses will be officially announced at the MFAD Thesis Forum “EMPRISE” on April 14, 2015.)

Sasha Prood for “Hila” an illustrated activity book series of local adventures and personalized drawing experiences, for children ages four to seven and their caregivers to complete together.

Wanjung Tsai for “Capsul” a mobile application that auto-curates photo books that you’d love, based on context of your photos and personal aesthetics. Within a few clicks, a highly-customized, on-trend photo book is printed and on its way home.

Issa Mao for “Mesura” an online platform that allows customers to create one-of-a-kind garments using vintage clothing and re-purposed fabrics, to turn unwanted clothes into something that can be newly worn.
