Hometown: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
My name is Isabel. I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. After graduating I wanted to continue perusing my interests of editorial and book design. SVA has given me the chance to further stimulate timeless visual communication, conceptual thinking, and development of entrepreneurial instincts.

Title: I believe it is true that in all aspects of life there is design, even in a drive thru line.
This photo series investigates design principles in the most recognizable places, fast food restaurants. The piece is based off the statement, “I believe it is true that in all aspects of life there is design, even in a drive thru line”. The concept is illustrated using color, form, repetition, and space in the fast-food drive thru lines. Fast food restaurants are designed to catch the attention of those passing by and influences customers to explore more. I enjoyed experience this project offered. Simply trying something new, riding in the car, seeing what I could stumble upon on created a memorable artistic process. It was a fun exercise combining both my graphic design knowledge and photography abilities.
