What’s Beyond the Forum?

Last night at the SVA Theatre, the School of Visual Arts’ MFA Design Department showcased the Class of 2024’s Ventures, attended by a full house of family, friends, colleagues, and design professionals. The event was a vibrant celebration of innovation, humor, and professional rigor, as each student presented projects that represented a culmination of their academic and entrepreneurial journeys. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the presenters shared their vision and research, demonstrating how their ventures would positively impact society.
The presentations varied widely, featuring everything from technological innovations to sustainable solutions, each addressing real-world challenges with creativity and practicality. The audience’s response was overwhelmingly positive, with laughter and applause punctuating the insightful presentations.

These MFA students are poised to become pioneers of change, their designs a marriage of passion and intellect, skill, and taste, driven by an indomitable entrepreneurial spirit.
