The Annual Austin Film Festival opened with the movie Bestia de Cardo, about a Dominican girl forced to return home to a suffocating and elite society called Cardo and meets a tailor who teaches her a supernatural way to escape, was elected as official selection / 2014.

Directed by Virginia Navarro Sanchez and produced by Patricia Navarro Sanchez (MFAD ’15), who also did the graphic design.
