Meet: Luisa Vélez, Bogota, Colombia

“I was asked to represent with typography one thing I had learned in my life so far,” explains Lusia Vélez. “This video [Reflections] is the result of experimenting with the beautiful, yet intangible reflections of light on water.

“The words appearing and disappearing create anticipation in the audience, only giving the sentence full meaning at the end. The format and feeling of the video aim to recall the nostalgic memory of the disillusion of those experiences which sometimes only existed for us.”
