Veronika Golova
ShareAs the Director of Operations, Veronika Golova oversees all department initiatives and works closely with the department co-chairs. She acts as liaison among the students, faculty and staff. Veronika holds a BFA from SUNY New Paltz and an MFA from Brooklyn College. She was an Adjunct Professor in the Brooklyn College Art Department and a Project Manager for the Brooklyn College Vice President’s office for Institutional Advancement. Veronika is also a Czech-American visual artist who worked as a restoration artist at the 9/11 Memorial and she has a studio in Brooklyn.
Currently, she is a Ph.D. Candidate at Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts in Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Art Theory.
Todd Carroll
ShareAs the Senior Systems Administrator, Todd Carroll is responsible for daily operations, implementation, maintenance, and continuous operation of all technology-related issues for the students, faculty, and administration of the department. Todd is also a photographer with over 25 years experience, and presently maintains a photo studio in Brooklyn, where he works for various international magazines and publications, as well as his personally driven projects. As an educator, he has been teaching photography courses at SVA since 2010. He obtained a master’s degree from SVA’s MPS in Digital Photography program in 2009.
