“‘Merging Architecture’ is an exhibition of Japanese architect Toyo Ito. The challenge was to create an identity system for the entire exhibition that abstractly hints at Toyo Ito’s nature inspired architecture. For this particular design, the positive and negative space work to convey type and form that is originally inspired from Toyo Ito’s Mikimoto building in Japan.”
