Jennifer Holcomb
Inspired by own own experiences with loss, I created Journey On, A Living Person’s Survival Guide to Death for my Venture. Coping with the emotional and logistical aftermath of death is complicated and confusing. Journey On helps people through emotional wilderness with step-by-step plans, checklists, and actionable tools for every step of the way, from funeral planning to grief support. Through this knowledge and preparation, people are empowered to make informed decisions during times of emotional turmoil and begin healing on their own terms.

Brailly is a physical tool for the visually impaired who were previously sighted to learn Braille with their loved ones. This venture was driven by the purpose to help people use Braille in everyday communication so that they will be free to enjoy intellectual freedom, personal security, independence and have equal opportunities to study and work.

Rui Li
I’m designing a mechanical toy for children 8-10 years old to encourage them to explore science and engineering. The toy is in the form of various wooden mechanical components including rods, gears, sliders and more, that let children assemble and study mechanical engineering freely.
