Where and what are you working on right now?
I am working at AKQA Tokyo as a Creative Director and Art Director.
What impact has SVA MFA Design had on your career?
Absolutely. Thanks to the program, I’ve gained the ability to creatively guide my team and apply 360 design thinking to the projects I work on, and successfully transitioned from design role to creative directional role.
If you could choose a thesis topic today, what would you pick?
I would still stick with my Broadway Musical Venture, more excuses to go see a good show, haha. But instead of developing an app experience, I’d probably challenge myself to create a bigger-scale of immersive experience and campaign around it.
Anything else you would like to share?
Honestly, the program changed my perspective on who I am as a creative person in my career. And it certainly unlocked many of the potentials in me that I didn’t know I have as a professional designer. So I will forever be grateful for it.
