This is one of my favorite projects from year one in the MFAD program. With this project I was able to experiment with type stretching using a copy machine. It was fun to pair the funky type creations with Mammal Hands, a great Avant-garde jazz trio. Justin Colt and Jose Fresneda (“Type for Masters”) were great instructors and helped me to think about using type in unique ways.
