Each year we ask incoming MFAD students to discuss their favorite work. Today we meet:

Mira Khandpur, Mumbai, India

“This work is an identity and visual language for Wow Awards Asia (previously known as Wow Awards), that I created while working at Skarma (a creative agency in Mumbai),” says Mira Khandpur. “This year the awards celebrated collaboration across Asia, and for the first time invited entries from all over the continent, recognizing excellence in events and experiential marketing.

“Keeping the spirit of collaboration and the scale of the Asian continent in mind, design for Wow Awards Asia 2015 reflects the concept of ‘building blocks’ (or Lego). Each country is represented by it’s own independent piece, but bringing all of them together creates something more meaningful, complex, and beautiful.”
