Araba Simpson (MFAD ’05) of design studio ASENYA has worked with Harlem’s historic Apollo Theater to convey its history, culture, and soul through printed and promotional materials. Tomorrow night, Simpson will discuss her path to design and the challenge of expressing the Apollo’s rich history through the medium of graphic design at the Cooper Hewitt Design Center (111 Central Park North) on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 – 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
