Day One: Prego

So today was our first day of school. We were treated to amazing talks by Louise Fili and Steven Heller on vernacular typography and the history of typography respectively, then the group did some serious bonding over pizza, coffee, gelati and more pizza. I have a sore throat from all the laughing, I’m not sure how much work is going to get done as the group is having such a good time exploring the city together.
We appear to have a group saying already … “prego” … as it appears to be the most versatile Italian word that you can use for just about any situation, though we are still not quite sure what it means.
We are all very excited for our calligraphy class tomorrow. Prego!
