Bridget Dearborn receives a 2014 Design Ignites Change Student Innovation Award! for her thesis venture: After Suicide, an online community that connects people who have lost someone they love to suicide.

“Knowing that you’re not alone provides a sanctuary from the isolation and secrecy that often surround this kind of loss,” she says. “The website and tablet app will be a place where people can feel safe to express what they’re going through among people who truly understand, because they’re going through it, too.”
