Our soon-to-graduate class of 2025 had the pleasure of welcoming four distinguished MFAD alumni to a panel discussion focused on launching successful careers post-graduation. The panelists also shared advice on delivering compelling thesis presentations and navigating the final weeks of our program.

The panel featured Peggy Chen (MFAD ’24), currently a brand designer at a leading beauty company; Mingxuan Shen (MFAD ’23), working at a prominent design studio founded by an esteemed alumnus and faculty member; Amanda Spielman (MFAD ’07), serving as a senior designer at a renowned product company; and Raven Mo (MFAD ’24), contributing to impactful projects in the non-profit sector.

Hearing how their thesis projects served as catalysts for their professional journeys was energizing and inspiring. Amidst the intensity of finishing up the Venture projects, it’s easy to lose sight of what awaits after graduation. Their experiences reminded us of the value embedded in our thesis endeavors and excitement for what’s to come.
