Guest Lecture: Andy Pratt on Online Ventures
This week, former MFAD faculty member Andy Pratt will zoom in from points west.
Pratt has over twenty years of experience producing award-winning interactive media. He is currently the UX Lead for the Google Assistant Personality Team where he oversees illustrators, animators, sound designers, interaction designers, content strategists and many others to make conversational experiences on phones, smart speakers, smart displays, and many new products. His team’s mission is to create a truly delightful Google Assistant, making it more accessible and natural to interact with through human-like conversational capabilities. Together they are responsible for building experiences and conversations that surprise and delight millions of people worldwide.
Before joining Google, Pratt was a creative director at several agencies where he was able to deliver vision and strategy to some of the largest brands in the world. He is also co-author of “Interactive Design,” published by Rockport Press.
