Meet the Class of 2012: Adam Katz
Meet our MFA Design candidates for 2012. We asked them to answer the following:
1. What was noteworthy about your first year at MFAD?
2. What is your favorite NYC experience?
3. What was your favorite assignment was from first year?
Here are Adam Katz’s responses:
1. My first year at MFAD in one word was a whirlwind. The experience of working with such talented classmates and such amazing professors was truly a great learning and developing experience. I hope to take the skillsets and thinking I have learned last year not only into this year but the future as well.
2. My favorite NYC experience thus far was not design related but rather was coming back to NYC after being away on a month long trip and just seeing the city emerge after being away for so long. It made me realize that I had missed home.
3. My favorite assignment from last year was Andy Pratt’s final assignment to design an application that crossed over multiple platforms. I designed an interactive art exhibition that layered digital art over existing art creating new experiences for visitors to the public park.
