Meet the Class of 2012: Tim Hucklesby
Meet our MFA Design candidates for 2012. We asked them to answer the following:
1. What was noteworthy about your first year at MFAD?
2. What is your favorite NYC experience?
3. What was your favorite assignment was from first year?
Here are Tim Hucklesby’s responses:
1. The first year was a slap around the face wake up call; the realization that I needed to throw out much of what I thought about design and build up from the very basics.
The projects challenging, varied and inspiring. Getting feedback from people you had always respected in the field was very impactful.
Watching the class progressively develop thousand yard stares toward the end was also entertaining.
2. It’ll always be hard to top the first view of the skyline coming in from JFK. On traveling down the west coast this past summer, I expected to get the same floaty feeling when seeing some of the other cities I’d always wanted to visit. A mind blowing vacation, but I knew New York was home for me by the end of it.
3. Kevin O’ Callaghan – Embody a charity in the form of a guitar, I picked World AIDS Day.
