Meet the Class of 2014: Timothy Cohan
Sep 27 2013
Our series continues where the Class of 2014 tells “What I made this Summer.”
“This summer I attended SVA’s 2013 MFA Masters Workshop in Rome,” notes Timothy Cohan. “The two week intensive included lectures, hand lettering workshops, archeological tours, and also encouraged us to explore the city. It was walking the streets that led me to develop Via Disegni. It is an online store featuring vector pattern swatches inspired by grillwork from the streets of Rome. Each pattern is named for its street address and available for purchase in several different color schemes. New collections would be released periodically and the site could expand to include other cities in the future.”
