Meet The Class of 2016: Di Kong

Sep 09 2014

For the next couple of weeks we introduce members of the Class of 2016 and an example of their favorite work prior to entering MFAD.

Meet: Di Kong, Beijing, China

Di notes that she knows many people who have traveled to Tibet on bicycles. “And when they came back they all told me about the beautiful scenery, as well as the difficulties and dangers.” Di enjoys traveling too but “I need to gather much information beforehand,” it is exciting but also exhausting. So Di’s venture was to compile some Tibet-travel apps, to which she added some new functions to help bike riders. The new app, she calls “Way To Tibet,” includes room and board, road safety, and experience sharing.”
