For the next couple of weeks we introduce members of the Class of 2016 and an example of their favorite work prior to entering MFAD.

Meet: Radhika Maheshwari, Mumbai, India

Having worked in magazines, Radhika Maheshwari handled product styling, fashion styling, art directing covers and also dabbled in photography for a big story. “My biggest discovery was my illustration skill. I now work on cut and paste art illustrations and  map illustrations.”

These are some examples of her work for Condé Nast Traveller magazine India and a personal project.

Images 1 & 2: A fashion story for the “Film” issue. “I came up with the concept of cut and paste illustrations and along with the art director Himanshu Lakhwani illustrated this fashion story based movie posters and travel destinations.”

Image 3: Map illustrations for a well story on Singapore and Hongkong.

Image 4: A personal project of map illustrations based on her travels. “This one is my trip to California. I am hoping to make an entire wall full of maps to every place I travel as a memory.”
