Meet The First Year Students: Shen Wang

Each year at the start of the first semester we ask our new students to say a few words about one or more favorite projects.

“The Pool” is an imaginary pool where the mind digests memories.

In this particular case, the breakfast goes to the stomach, but the memory of it floats and decomposes in the mind’s nonexistent space. We all have our own system of keeping things in order in the physical world—nonetheless, what happens in one’s mind is often beyond one’s control.
