Pelin Kirca’s Lavazza Mural

May 14 2013

Pelin Kirca (MFAD 07) created a mural in Turkey for Lavazza, Galata that is inspired from Hezârfen Ahmed Çelebi’s flight with artificial wings from the top of Galata Tower flying over the Bosphorus and landing on the Dogancilar square in Üsküdar. (Reference from the 17th century writings of Evliyâ Çelebi, circa 1630-1632). See more here.
