Yesterday was Archaeologist Dr. Darius Arya’s long awaited tour of the Imperial Forum and Trajan Column. The latter was a long yet entirely fascinating trek through the layers of ancient Rome. This year new sites were open to visitors, revealing the grandeur of an Imperial Palace overlooking Circus Maximus, as well as traditional yet nonetheless extraordinary venues of the ruined capital of the world.
