Student Spotlight: Hyunji Jun

Meet Hyunji Jun, one of our MFAD Class of 2023 students.

Hometown: Seoul, South Korea

Hyunji started as a fashion designer based in Seoul, but gradually grew interested in the graphic design world.

Featured Work:
According to Eli Pariser in his book ‘The filter bubble’, AI can judge you based on your profile and your click history to filter what is relevant to you. This newspaper can demonstrate how the filter bubble can affect our perception of the world. I divided a few news about Black lives matter from Korean newspapers into two colors. Blue lens filters blue letters and red filters red. When we do not read both we can have a wholesome view.
