As the frequency of indiscriminate mass shootings continues to rise in recent years, incidents of mass firearm violence have far-reaching impacts on citizens’ mental health and perception of safety. With many discussions going on, my work calls on the public’s awareness of self-protection in the event of a mass shooting through uniting themselves to use mutual support at the crime scene before the police arrive. There are two components in this collection: poster design of constructivism that uses the colors of black, white, and red in heavy structural blocks to stress the solemnity of this social issue. Videos were further created for the purpose of broadcasting the theme to the public.
