For Stefan Sagmeister’s final “Touch Someone’s Heart” class first year MFA Design students created a variety of projects on the theme of “What I Learned in My Life, So Far.” Over the next few days we will survey some of them.

Zhao Miao chose “keep life simple or go with it.”

“Basically I use my own arm hair to form the sentence, then I use After Effect to create a video which shows the growing of this sentence during sunrise and sunset.”

The other sentence he chose is “when I am not afraid.”

“I did it as a live performance, I composed and sung a song named “when I am not afraid”, then I made a MV for it, at last, at the final presentation, I projected this MV on the screen while I was dancing against the screen, so I acted and interacted with the creatures and words in the MV. That was a incredible experience!”
