Well I Declare…

Apr 28 2023

Our annual first year Thesis Declaration day, the last check-box in the second semester process of thesis exploration, was an incredible event. After their classes covering initial research and development, the students delivered presentations to a selected assembly of faculty and alumni.

At such an early stage, the students impressed the review panel with their knowledge and presentation skills. They engaged the audience with well-researched and thought-provoking topics, that were diverse and potentially unique future ventures. These first steps were met with positive feedback as well as constructive criticism, challenging them to hone their concepts.

The review panel included Justin Colt* ‘13, Katherine Killeffer ‘20, Sarah Wilson ‘16, Melisa Ozcan ‘16, Lillian Lee ‘11, Sue Walsh* ‘06, and Emily Roemer ‘22. (*Current faculty.)
