Chief Creative Officer, COLLINS
MFA Design, School of Visual Arts, BFA, Sage College
Nick Ace is an award-winning Armenian American designer, filmmaker and the Chief Creative Officer at COLLINS. He believes that the best ideas emerge in conversation. When we open ourselves up, trust each other, listen to each other and take time to understand each other, only great things can happen. Simply put, the unlikely collisions of our most authentic selves often create a perfect climate for invention. Nick is equally at home with artists as he is with CEOs and has brought his collaborative work ethic to a wide array of clients from Lou Reed to Google to Tiffany’s. Nick’s many accolades include “Mind blowing” [MTV], “The future of music videos” [Forbes] “Groundbreaking” [Vice] “Ahead of the curve. He has perfected a technique for hiding in plain sight.” [Design Observer] His work has been featured in business, culture, and style media including Forbes, Fast Company, Vice, Pitchfork, Refinery29, and Design Observer, among others. Prior to joining COLLINS, Nick was the Creative Director for international fashion and art magazine FRANK. In addition to managing FRANK, he led work for Toyota and William Grant & Sons where they found creative opportunities to bring the brands to street culture and vice versa. Other clients Nick has worked with include Cash App, Ford Motor Company, Human Rights Foundation, Matador Records, and HBO.
