Randy Hunt is an American designer, executive, artist, author, and musician living in Singapore. He have worked professionally in design for 20+ years, and for more than fifteen of those I've designed and built multi-sided marketplaces: First a designer-made marketplace named Supermarket (now defunct) that I co-founded, then Etsy, followed by Artsy, and then Grab (Southeast Asia's super-app). The nature of that design has morphed over time. What began as the craft of creating brands and easy-to-use online marketplaces evolved to creating long-term value through design that strengthen entire enterprises. Prior to that, he founded and directed a design studio—Citizen Scholar Inc.—that worked with clients in education, environment, arts, and social good.
