It was an exhilarating though exhausting semester. The class of 2012 graduated. The class of 2013 has left the building. And NewsBlog is taking a brief hiatus.

Yesterday was the 2012 SVA Commencement at Radio City Music Hall. 18 walked onto the stage as students and walked off as Masters. Congratulations to them all.

There is still time to vote for your favorite ExPOTUS. Hoof on down to the SVA Gallery at 209 East 23rd Street, just three blocks from the landmark Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace house (which was relocated from closer to Union Square).

Re Elect, the MFAD’s first year exhibition, curated by Kevin O’Callaghan, opened to an arch of red, white and blue balloons and the fanfare of Hail to the Chief.
