Glaser in Belgrade (In Spirit)

MFAD faculty member Milton Glaser was honored with an exhibition at the Belgrade Department Store in the heart of Belgrade this past week (until April 10). The premiere of the exhibit coincided with a three day conference titled ME?UNARODNA KONFERENCIJA DIZAJNER: AUTOR ILI UNIVERZALNI VOJNIK (a.k.a. Designer: Author or Universal Soldier).

For the past months Pelin Kirca (MFAD ‘07) has been working in Istanbul continuing her efforts in arts and animation. Her most recent work is a collaboration with the music group 123 and Brendan O’sullivian as the producer. The project is entitled “Grisha” which aims to interpret the short story by Anton Chechov.
